Item02- Large Vintage V. Taxell Religious Oil Painting – Jesus & Disciples

Large vintage original oil painting on canvas depicting Jesus and his disciples walking through a wheat field.

Signed at the lower left “V. Taxell.”

V. Taxell is associated with Finnish religious painting/conservation work, and independent Finnish references describe other large V. Taxell religious paintings, including the same Jesus-and-disciples-in-a-grain-field subject.

Mounted in a substantial ornate gold-tone frame with black decorative accents.

This painting has been in the same family collection for many years and was originally purchased as a significant decorative artwork.

Pre-owned vintage condition with normal age-related wear to the painting and frame as shown in the photos.
